Welcome to the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati
The Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati (ICGC) is not only the home to one of America’s most beautiful mosques, it prides itself as much more than a place of worship. Since our opening November 9, 1995, we have come to be known as an organization built on strong interfaith relations, cross-cultural understanding, and service to one and all. Greater Cincinnati Muslims of all ethnicities and backgrounds gather here to pray, socialize and learn. The larger community turns to us as a trusted source of accurate information on Islam and Muslims. Our doors are always open to our neighbors, and many who have walked in once have come back several times.
Our history is a path rich with significant accomplishments. Yet, we have been humbled with each milestone covered. Over our many years in this region, we have built comprehensive religious, cultural and educational programs to serve Cincinnati’s Muslims. We have successfully sought and discovered different ways of collaborating with our fellow Americans of other faiths and with the area’s diverse educational, professional and civic groups. We continue to develop new partnerships based on mutual understanding and shared values.
We are an American Muslim organization that believes in equality and healthy, productive lives for all. Serving others is one of many important components of our faith. Our members make daily contributions to serve our community, Greater Cincinnati, and the United States of America—and to support just and righteous causes everywhere. These are small steps toward fulfilling our ultimate objective: to worship and serve our common Creator and Sustainer, the One and Only God.
